Measure print area in ProoferHive
Within packaging design and printing on plastic in particular, there is a need to measure the printing area of the surface, in order to follow up the work in achieving today's sustainability goals.
How to prepare a document for printing area measurement in ProoferHive
Calculate the printing area in percentage – directly in ProoferHive.
First, resize the Artboard to fit the artwork according to the area you want to calculate. Then, upload the document and click on the color drop at the top right in review mode. Depending on selection of material, choose between excluding the white which is representing white plastic/paper, or *gray representing transparent plastic.
