Social tools create the conditions for digital collaboration

Scenes from an ongoing project.

Digital collaboration - Roles and access - Automatically written emails

Soon, we will probably have digital tools for everything. We plan, produce and publish digitally, and during the pandemic, we have become used to meet digitally. But between all these meetings, we need to both work and cooperate effectively. The team that shares a workplace knows the value of the close, physically collaboration, but many projects require close collaboration with everyone affected by a project. The marketing team, the in-house team and the agency team create the core, but often things are quality controlled by internal and external people. This is where the social tool comes in.

A prerequisite for a good collaboration is that everyone has access to the project's documents and files. Then, each participant must be involved at the right time in the process and everyone must know who’s turn it is for each action. Full overview at any given time - for everyone in the project.

But the key is to be able to communicate, discuss and in particular to be able to explain what you mean in a way that is as simple as sitting next to each other.

When you can point, draw and comment directly in the image directly on the screen in the shared view, then you have the best conditions. It's simple to do and easy for co-workers to understand. It will be fewer mistakes. We all know that mistakes and misunderstandings cost money and cause concern.

In a digital and efficient project, all project participants need to be able to collaborate in a way as if they were all sitting in the same room, even though they operate from different addresses, in different cities or other countries.

In addition, when you have a platform where most of all messages are created and sent automatically, then you save even more time. Please read more about the signal system and ProoferHive's notification functionality here.
